Morning Glories 2014 #08

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

That is beautiful, Jackie. I keep having to lay down because of a stupid migraine, was in bed for almost 24 hours, feel like I am missing out. I am up for the moment, I THINK my peppermint Hige is trying to be a HIGE, but cold temps have everything weird.
This bug was friendly enough, he ended up being turtle food, tho. Lastly is the terrible shot of one of the 4 hummers that visit me frequently. I have a pair of rufus and a pair of ruby throats. Hard to go outside when the light hurts my eyes, back to bed for awhile.

Sorry to hear about your migraine Debra. Get some rest, hope your feeling better soon! Love y our photo's!

Debra, Will email you some of my home remedies for headaches for you to try.
Your higes will be more feathered later on. They start out as singles. Lovely blooms
anyway even if they weren't fully feathered.
Pretty little hummer.

Was happy to see a purp open this morning.

Pretty blooms today! Last pictures looks like some sort of fungus/mushroom?

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Lovin all the blooms ladies!! Been real busy here with grandkids...have a few pics to upload, not much happening for me yet other than some purps.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, I think my last pic looks like it might be a lichen. I looked them up and mine looks very similar to a couple of species.
I had a PPV open but missed it on my 1st walkaround.
We'll be looking forward to your pics Ronnie,

very pretty Jackie. And those lichens look cool too, I heard people used to eat them?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Deb, I think if they ate them it was as a last resort. Surely a person had to be starving to death is'how one website put it,.
Found lots of pics under the Lichen photo gallery that looked very simikar to mine.

Pretty nice pictures of your blooms Jackie and Debra.

Hope your better from your migraines Debra.

Didn't get to post yesterday. Still pretty much the same repeats but I like my mauve splash star, several vines with them.

They are all beautiful, Helena, what is number 4? it is really unusual. I also love your mauve splash star. Repeats are good. I am at work today , migraine is gone just a left over dull burn. I suspect it will be gone all the way soon.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I love your Mauve Splash Helena. Beautiful Keiryu or
Mutant x Keiryu
Tell me again what the soft pink is. Is it a Pink Porcelain cross?

Glad you finally got rid of the migraine Debra.

Repeats for me too
BMN not and Lite Bue Tie Dye

Thanks Debra and Jackie. Glad your migraine is gone too Debra.

Pretty blooms Jackie. I'm enjoying them too.

Bloom #4 is Black King with a star is Debra. I have a seedling from Azuremores seed that is supposed to have blizzard in it. It'll be couple weeks before it blooms.

Jackie that real light pink # 2 bloom should be pink ice but the blooms are too small I think for it to be it. The other pink is Pink Porcelain cross.

Look at Mauve Splash today!
Jackie the bloom that you like, see the lighter blue specks on it? I don't seed seed pods on it yet. But I hope it does make some.
Another Black King and Keiryu cross

OH MY! Those are so pretty. Love the first one!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, Yes it was (# 5) I was referring to as Pink Porcelain cross.
I do love that gorgeous blue with the lighter blue streak and the partial white bars.
All your blooms are gorgeous this morning.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I agree.. that mauve splash star looks like it is from the Galaxy.. one can get lost in gazing at the stars you know ..

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda, Jackie and Debra. I checked again the vine with blue and white bars & streaks and did see at least one seed pod. Still time for the bees to do the pollinating.

That mauve star splash is special. My second walk around and found that I had missed some blooms and not all were mgs.

Jackie, I can't believe my clitoria t bloomed yesterday and I missed seeing the bloom, found it today wilted. Now I won't know if it's the double blooms until it blooms again.

Here's what I missed this morning.

omgs is that an orihime? and a red passon vine? oh gosh.

Gautier, MS

No Debra sorry, that is my Pandy that I thought it wasn't going to bloom. I'm not real happy with the leaves on it but happy it bloomed and I see a few more buds on it.

But yes that is a red passion flower I bought this spring. I get tempted easily when I go to Lowes.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Helena those are pretty blooms.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I love the form on that pandy bloom, it is different from mine. Lovely.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Lovely pandy bloom Helena. Beautiful Red Passion vine.
Is your last bloom a Flying Saucer or FS x Blue Star cross?

Hope you can catch your Clitoria bloom open soon. Mine is coming along but not close to blooming yet.
