fruit not ripening

Hi, I have 5 fig trees where the figs are remaining green. I've only had 3 or 4 beautiful ripe ones early on. Last year they produced fine. I also have 5 grape vines (red and green) that are also remaining green. The plants themselves are beautiful. Is there some missing element I need to give them? Thank you!
