Has anyone else noticed that green beans grow from a tiny bean to a giant bean. I would like to pick my beans when they are medium sized, but I always find them very large. Is it just me?

This is my first year growing beans, so I can't chime in this time - maybe next year. But now I'm forewarned, so thank you (even though we grow in vastly different climes). Hope you get a knowledgeable answer.

I do have the same problem ... and that is why I grow only long beans with RED pods ... so I can see them easily!

I also notice that. One day they are too small. The next day they are too big.
Does this mean we are related to Goldilocks?
