I purchased 3 hydrangea that were supposed to all be Merrett's Supreme. I understand that the blooms change color as they age, but the middle plant is much more pastel colored than the other two, even with the more mature blooms. Is this variety supposed to be so radically different?
One hydrangea not like the others
The 2 plant on the left look like the same type and even the one on the right with the darker colour looks the same, just more mature flowers,
The best way to find any problems is to start by testing the soil in each pot, Hydrangea's can change flower colour depending on soil PH, you can buy a pastel pink plant and when planted into your garden soil, the following year the flowers can be blue.
If these were my plants, I would wait for a whole years growing before I thought there was a problem IF it's just the flower colour your concerned about,
If the plants are healthy they will be fine, IF there are health / disease or aphid problems then that's totally different from flower colours as the colour has nothing to do with plant health.
You can buy a soil test kit for a couple of Dollars at the garden centre and they are easy to use, understand and they tell you what additives are required to amend the soil to suit your plants.
Hope this helps a bit and am sure others will come onto the thread to help you out further, perhaps someone from yout area.
Kindest Regards.

I like these flowers.I also bought the same flowers to gift my hubby for his birthday. As she loves the flowers, she liked these very much.
Nature was surely made special to give beautiful plants for us humans to enjoy.
Best Regards.
