I am puzzled by this orange white filaments that come out of my pear tree branches and young fruits. The fruits would become enlarged in the affected area, mostly on the head of the fruit. I have attached a picture of it for ID. Would you please tell me what it is and how to prevent this. Right now, I can only cut the affected fruits/branches off and dispose them in the garbage can.
