My mom has many years old Epipremnum and we have a little thrips problem around here. I have used some kind of pesticide and have washed leaves with soap water, but then the leaves started to look like in the picture. I really want to know is that problem done by the thrips, pesticide or the soap water? That problem came after pesticide and soap water and it came fast. The pesticide is a stick that needs to put in the compost and it includes Imidocloprid.
Please help me! :(

Need to add this: the pesticide has fertilizer in it, so can it be the reason for the problem?
I think the damage you are seeing is from the soap. Soaps not made for plants are too harsh, and often burn foliage.

Thank you so much, Vestia!! I was thinking that too and now I can breath again because I know the reason and can avoid to do the same mistake again!
