FIRST FLOWERS SPRING!!! Memorial Day Edition

MMMMMMM that strawberry! I so wish that I had a bigger yard so that I could grow strawberries. 'Allstar' is a great variety for our area.

Typ, I've already had a couple strawberries from the plants you shared with me. So yummy!

typwc, I sought out Allstar because it was on the list recommended by UM. And later Tristar, too, but those little Tristar berries...not thrilled with them.

I love that Verbascum. Where do you get something like that?

Is that a prostrate growing cactus or upright? Very beautiful. I can't wait until our one cactus starts blooming. None this year but it grew 4 new paddles to 8 total.

I get things like that from David---

No actually I have seen Moth mullein in seed catalogs I think? Not sure if they are this exactly.

My Opuntia is up against a wall, not sure how natural the form is. With winter it slumps some. and this winter broken some. But new pads come from the top edges of the old. Will get a better overall pic later.

We might need a new thread soon, after this round of big pictures

I was thinking that too Sally.
