I have had and successfully used my Envirocycle tumbler since 2006. Yes, I don't tumble it often enough, but, it works and we get 2-3 'harvests' out of it every year.
But, the lid has begun to deteriorate. The rest of the unit is fine, a little rust on the roller axles, but all the other plastic is fine, just the lid is getting brittle. And since is is a primary spot to put your hand when you spin the barrel, I have concerns it won't last another season - maybe 2 with a lot of care?
So, I contacted the manufacturer with an email thru the website since I could'nt find a link to a parts page. Well, they are sending me a replacement lid at no charge! yeah, an 8 (EIGHT!) year-old piece of plastic situated outdoors in Texas!
no connection with them other than a satisfied customer
I'm stunned.

Envirocycle has great customer service!
Received the new lid! Fits fine and has an improved latch. (never had trouble with the old latch)
no charge or shipping!
great service, great product.
Always good to hear of the good guy's / companies, especially after the daily new of everyone from government to the store worker always trying to crew there Grandmothers.
Glad you got your tumbler fixed up in time for the new season.
Enjoy the season and take care.
Best Regards.
WeeNel.
yeah, plenty of folks (including myself on occasion) will rush to alert the Internet to even a slight mistake by a retailer or manufacturer, but, I believe we need more info on where good products or services might be found.
