Blue Fescue?

Ames, TX

i live in Liberty TX, just east of Houston, ive been trying to locate a nursery that had blue fescue to no avail! i want some kind of short mound grass to plant in my garden next to my big rocks, preferably something w/ color...im attempting a nice flower bed in the front of my house..any suggestions?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

try classy groundcovers....I think they have it.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

OK, they don't have it, but it is easy to start from seed, because I did it once!

Contra Costa County, CA(Zone 9b)

Other plants that looks almost the same:
Festuca californica 'Serpentine Blue'- so close you might not tell the difference.
Helictotrichon sempervirens- it gets about 18" high, flowers a bit taller.
Leymus condensatus 'Canyon Prince'- much coarser looking, but blue! (AKA Elymus)
Most varieties of Festuca glauca or Festuca ovina glauca

Names keep changing, so a nursery might not keep up with the current name.
