Can you ID this wildflower.
Native azalea (Rhododendron periclymenoides possibly).
Looks like one that would smell very good. Have you taken a sniff?
Yes they are gorgeous but take some time to get a good full bloom on them. I have 3 about 5 feet tall but only 2 bloomed last year and only one looks like it will bloom this year. I guess the ones getting more sun do the best for bloom. At our last house I had two pink and one orange and they all bloomed great. They are about 3 years old now.
