I planted my Kale seeds in January, & they are growing good. But only about 9 inches tall. I'm eating the leaves, but does anyone have taller Kale? Or, is my Kale growing normal.
How big is your Kale?
Kale is extremely diverse. There are short varieties where 9-10 inches is normal (Dwarf Blue Curled Scotch) and tall varieties. The tallest (Jersy aka Wallking Stick, Tree Collards) can reach 10 feet. It also come in several colors of green, near black, and reds. There are many leaf variations ranging from tightly curled to smooth. Without specifying the variety there is no way to tell.
