Can we keep flowers fresh for long time?

Hello friends, please tell me that can we keep flower fresh for long time and can keep them fresh in cold and hot weather, if yes, then how because i am facing to this problem from long time. so please help me?

Are you asking about cut flowers or flowers still on the plant?

Several methods are used to help conserve the life of CUT flowers placed in water.

Cut the bottom inch off the stems regularly when you change the water in the vase, add some SODA WATER to the tap water in the vase this helps give air to the plant via stem.

An Asprin (medication for headache or pain) one small tablet helps flowers last longer.
Add a spoon of sugar to water, this helps,

Add Spoonful of baking soda (here we use baking Soda to baking cakes as a rising agent) it helps flowers

All spoonfuls are TEA_SPOON measures. they will only delay the flowers from dying for a few days -week longer, keep water containing flowers out of direct sun and mist the flowers in very hot days too.
I feel sure there are many more ideas written, tried and tested from other parts of the world so perhaps many more folks will join in and give help too.
