Okey dokie, I will try that the next gravy I make. =)

Gita, I am with you, sour cream adds flavor and creaminess to nearly everything. Maybe I'll make a sour cream pound cake to bring to the swap.

I slip a tbs. of sour cream in a lot of things, like garlic mashed potatoes.
Making a pork loin fro supper, it's marinating now in EVOO, mustard, Thyme, Rosemary, garlic, lemon zest, and a little lime juice. Then I sear it well in EVOO, and pop it in a 400*F oven for 15 min.
I plan to serve it cut into medallions topped with the debris, garlic mashed potatoes, and a chopped salad.

My tummy's growling just thinking about it.

Wow, mine too Ric, YUMMY!!! Heh heh "the debris", that's funny!

I whip some sour cream into eggs that I'm planning to scramble (instead of using milk); it makes the eggs really nice and creamy. Never tried it in mashed taters, gonna have to do that next. Also, gonna have to start a new shopping list and add sour cream to it. =)

Thinking I'll saute some boneless chicken, cook pasta, an crack open a jar of pesto, for dinner next.

Bought some catfish nuggets (double yummm) and tomorrow will
fry those up for dinner. I LOVE catfish! So fatty.....
