CLOSED: 2014 Spring Round Robin Seed Swap - Interest Thread!

Just received a pack of Aztec marigold seeds hand collected from neighbors garden. Will add these to the mix along with some cow pen daisy, Siam Queen basil and Gregg's mist flower :)

Nanny23, you know I still haven't had a chance to germ those king tut seeds you sent me.. I hope to as soon as I get all these veggie seedlings out of my house! Lol! (I had to check my Dmail when I saw your name pop up on here so I could remember what seeds you had traded me, also saw you sent me a Dmail back in December and I never replied.. Hope you don't think I'm a snob! Lol!) I swear I thought I was being proactive by having folders to organize current trades from finished trades, but all it's done is make it harder for me to keep up w replies!!

Anywho, gonna make good use of the wet weather we're having today and get my butt outside to transplant two Eves Necklace saplings a buddy gave me, I haven't had any luck w seeds in the past, reaaaally hoping these live for me!

Some Black pearl and Cayenne seeds from pod here , Started them today , yesterday , if they sprout I will add the remainder.
The ones before were a year old,
Anyone have any perennial blue flax (linum perrene) I think that is close ..lol

Yep, but I'm not doing the robin. Can send you some though if no one puts any blue flax seeds in your robin.

FYI - the Fall Robin has landed!!!

Giant thing she is, I think she portends an abundance for the season!

I will get in there tonight/tomorrow and see what there is to see. I hope to have her back up in the air again before the middle of next week so peeps can get seed in time to start for spring.

I am not exactly sure how this will work since this is my first experience with the Robin. I wonder if I would have time to send these to Amanda to get them in the box at the beginning...Amanda are you out there? Will there be time to mail seeds before it flies again?

I plan to ship by next Friday or before. Signup will continue throughout and as the HOST deems appropriate new members may or may not be included in the Robin if we obtain all the necessary information (name, rank, serial number, etc.).

Geeez it's a lot of seed. And haven't gone thru it myself yet, but excited to do so. :)

I've heard on the thread before that the box looked kind of beat up. Is this how it looked when it shipped from NISI to me?

I admit it !!! when it came close to me , i was in the shipping room , and I sat on it to keep it from flying ,,.lol
Really they may be , they have the right to inspect any package , likely , they did so looking for Drugs ,,

I agree to adhere to the RULZ as set forth by the powers that be. I know that there is a responsibility that each participant do their part to keep the Robin flying in a timely manner and to maintain the integrity of the contents. Just let me know what info you require.

I am going to try to get those seeds to Amanda before the bird flies, but I can't make that a promise! I have been way busier than normal and this wknd is no excretion.. Calling for thunderstorms Sunday and I really want to get my gutters up and rainbarrels installed for that! Maybe I could priority mail them to the first recipient on the list? Thoughts on that?

Quick question for anyone who knows.....Commercial seed- does it need to be repackaged in clear envelopes or left in the original package if it is unopened?
