Chinese fan palm seed cleaning

Can anyone tell me a better way to clean Chinese fan palm seeds in a better way than with my fingernails or a paint stirrer in a bucket? I have a cpl hundred of them.

General ways:
Get a rock tumbler or cement mixer. Add the seeds, and some sharp, angular gravel. Tumble until cleaned. Keep washing while tumbling, this will flush away the soft parts.

Soaking them in water for several days can help to soften it, then tumble them.
