TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning everyone.

Pegi, bet that plumeria smells so good! Minis are much easier to handle. What do you feed them with?

Was in bed by 8. Woke up around 1 a.m, no Kel in bed. Went looking for him around the house, looked out the window, his truck's gone.
Called him and he didn't answer the cell. Got pretty worried, so I decide to take my truck down the road, just in case that new battery went kaput on him. Thought he might make a trip to the corner gas station for his soft drinks.
As I was stepping out of the house, then it dawned on me that the man was working!!!!
Whew.. glad I didn't drive in the dark!
Duuuhhhhhh... when he got home this morning, I told him of my fright and that man just grinned and said I needed to be tested for alzheimer's. Not funny.

Game day today. When you hear some far away groans.. that's me.

LK, wish Todd a Happy Birthday for us please. I bet Dylan will put his hand on Todd's cake!!

Stay warm sisters. Will be fixing a pot of hot tea for sure!

LSU Tigers and Saints-Drew Brees RULE!!!!!
Thats my State Teams!!!

Maybe why my plumerias haven't bloomed is I've only fed them water. I need to give them more nourishment, ya think? Our warm weather is still here, I'm so spoiled! My friend in Minneapolis said they got first snow fall and very cold, glad I'm not there. If I'm going to ge anything done today I better move out of this chair.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Cody, i'll be thinking bout you and jaye as I watch the game tonite

Psst Cody, Sis Kathy didn't mention that her husband is a big Tiger fan ;) He'd be eating that tiger stew first!!

Pegi, at least you didn't kill your plumies. I fed mine, but didn't provide the adequate warmth they need in the winter :(

It's cool, but beautiful outside. All left blooming are the chrysenthemums and waiting for camellias to open up. Mine are always the last ones on the block.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

my camellias aren't open yet either. they are full of buds, but no flowers.
and yes, Michael gets the first serving of stew

LOL!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Hi Jaye and all -- I just sat down here after a very busy morning. I haven't turned on a game yet. *grin*

Someone just sent me some brug cuttings (pinks and whites) so I suppose I should think about getting them in a pot soon. I almost said "I reckon I should" but that points to the fact that I'm in the South. Well, I am.

Also have some Opuntia pads and Huernia cuttings to start rooting. I'll tell you, man may work from sun to sun but woman's work is never done. Or as they say around these threads "neveh". :)

I'm glad you found Kel. I'd hate to think he was misplaced somewhere.

good day to you all
not much going on here.
Tim told me today his boss said everyone has to come and work on friday after thanksgiving ! wow what an A$$H!@#L!@#E. Poor Tim his big 50 birthday and he has to work. It could snow or rain and may change. but really ! work on the friday after thansgiving ?
if he does have to work , means he drives home wends and then drives back thursday .

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

sue, that really sucks. tell him to call in sick

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Talked to my brother this morning and he sounds good. He is up walking around, but very slowly. He was telling me the odd things he saw after all those drugs. I'm sure my SIL is glad he is home. They are a very close couple.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you sistahs for all your prayers.
Murdock left very peacefully a short while ago. No struggles nor tears, and I know your prayers have made his journey so much easier.

Love to all.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I am so sorry to hear of Murdock's passing Jaye but relieved it was peaceful. Better still, I am so happy you had a chance to visit with him at his request....I am sure that was extremely important to him.

Saying a prayer for you, Kel and yes, the entire family. I believe it will be needed in the days to come. Love you both.

It seems horrible to comment in the same message but yes, it was a run away train. Good for our 3 teams to have some practice.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Jaye, I know it's a sad thing, but don't feel bad for being just a little relieved. When my Mother passed, I was sad for me, but happy for her. No one wants to lie there and wait to be called home. (((Kel, Jaye))) Just know that we are praying for you and take some of your sorrow as our own. Love you!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Joyce, I share you thoughts regarding our moms. As much as I hated to give her up, it was so much more painful to watch her knowing full well she was so aware of everything happening.

Jaye, we are always here for you and Kel. Sending hugs and prayers.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

(((Marion)))

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Condolences from California. Sending prayers & hugs for family.

((((Jaye)))) sending (((hugs))) for you and your family your way.
