If Glove Amaranth is not a perennial for my area (North Carolina), will I be able to save seeds and plant them next year or did I just throw away money on a plant this late in the year?
Glove Amaranth seeds
Seeds of your annual Globe Amaranth can be saved for sowing next year. I usually just pull the entire seed head and store them in an open container. You can go ahead and separate the individual seeds from the seed head, if desired. Make sure they are well dried if you intend to store them in a closed container.
Thank you so much for the information.
