Artificial Indoor Lights for Citrus?

Apple Valley, MN

Hi: So, I purchased an indoor light system. However, they offer no growing hints at all.

I was wondering how much light my dwarft orange and lemon trees need so I can set the timer accordingly.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give~!

Contra Costa County, CA(Zone 9b)

Citrus are closer to tropical, so I would give them a day length that is not too far off 12/12, but they grow just fine in subtropical and warmer temperate zones where the day length can vary as much as 9/15.
That is, winter = 9 hours light, 15 hours dark. Summer is the opposite.

I do not think that Citrus are too picky.
Good, bright light, rich in the right wavelengths would be more important than a specific day length.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

I am zone 5 and I have an lemon tree and a fig tree in my solar room. It is a narrow room full of glass. My lemon tree and fig tree produce all the time and I don't supply any supplemental light. So I am not sure the length of time of the light matters, just make sure you have good light.
