My sister and I would like to plant more Rose of Sharon bushes (Hibiscus syriacus) on our property but this time we need more compact, low-growing shrubs. I have not yet found any source of information on comparative heights of the different varieties. Zone here is 6b-7a.
Can any of the members help us with this? Thanks.
Need info on low-growing variety/varieties of Rose of Sharon
I googled Hibiscus syriacus dwarf and came up with 'Li'l Kim', about 4' high and wide.
All the others seem to be full sized, ranging from about 8' on up, and 5' or more wide.
