:(
I aint waiting 3 hours. jd will do it when I get there
TGIF!!
I didn't over do it with the bricks but now that I look at the pathway...they might have to be redone. Ouch. It isn't as level as it can be but this is a learning experience so........
They are predicting we will get some rain this weekend...not putting much stock in the report but we shall see. I am going to water some of my plants just to be on the safe side!!
they say to expect 2-3 inches here tomorrow
Raining here starting tonight through tomorrow morning.
Good Morning Ladies,
Yes Jaye I am making earrings made 3 pr yesterday. Bracelets, I don't know yet but I do have a lot of stuff to make some.
Very nice weather here, even may get some rain tomorrow.
My Sister was in the hospital last week for weight loss surgery, that went really good, but now she is admitted to rehab, as she has bulging disc's in her lower back, and it is so painful, she can't walk! I also got a text last night that my Sisters youngest son Steve was rushed to the er again due to pain in his chest. He had to go into emergency surgery to drain fluids fro the sac that surrounds the heart. They drained 1 liter of fluid and blood. She said the Dr, was concerned there was blood in the fluid, so they put him in ICU for the night.
Update on Steve...
Steven is sitting up in a chair eating his breakfast. He is really sore but he is alive. I am so grateful. We should be moving to a regular room sometime today. We are currently waiting on the lab results to see what caused this. I will post later. Keep the prayers coming.
Will do, Linda.
prayers going out to him
I back, took 20 min. to change my oil
Oh no! LK, tell him he has to heal completely before returning to work.
Prayers will continue for Steve and your sister.
Thanks everyone.
Kathy that was quick.
yeppers, even went shopping
Sending prayers in the direction of MI for your sister and her son. Hope he continues to be okay and she is getting meds to be pain free....
Morning everyone! rise and shine! Coffee is ready with some orange glazed sweet rolls!
im here, where iz u
Sittin on the front porch, looking at the muddy yard. We got 6 & 1/2 inches of rain yesterday.
Wow. We got almost 6 inches, but we haven't been in a drought. Glad to hear TX is finally getting some rain. Just hope it doesn't flood.
we got an inch this morning. still drizzling. started to burn the brush we have cut since we lived here, the fiure dept. came and put it out. said they would not fine us this time, because we didn't know we needed a permit
We are just now getting some rain YAY!!!!! Harlee and I went out and stood in it for about 5 min I LOVE IT!!!!!! Amy and Doug don't lol ^_^
We got FIVE blessed minutes of rain.
It's illegal for "open burning" around here too, Sis, in the countryside, not only the suburbs.
Permits are required if not you'd be fined $25,000!
I think anymore you need a permit just about everywhere if it's allowed at all, some places totally ban burning.
We can burn things here if it is in a burn barrel. No permit is required. But when it is hot and dry no burning is allowed.
the permit crap started a month ago, thays why we didn't get fine. but we had bquite the ado. 3 fire trucks and foam!
LOL They making sure you got the message....loud and clear. Lucky too some places will charge for having to make the call.
Apart from safety, the permits also provide revenue for the fire department.
ROLLIN, ROLLIN, ROLLIN, AND THE TIDE ROLLS ON
I think this is what they call rubbing it in?
Got to share this with my sistahs for some that didn't join the candle swap.
Kel got a box yesterday screaming (I was in the bathroom) saying he got a box. All the time, I thought it's something he had ordered. Remember when I gave him permission to get more books and cds?
Didn't think nothing of it, until I heard "It smells so good!"
Hmm.. got me wondering what cologne had he ordered knowing full well that I have a very peculiar nose.
Oh dear... found out that he had lit up a soy candle which is part of a set meant for the swap.
Poor guy was so happy, (as I had banished all candles for a year now) I didn't have the heart to tell him the truth :(
Surprisingly, the candle burns real clean unlike some that claimed to be soy and aren't clean burning.
Well sistah Kathy, didn't you just thank the LSUTigers for defeathering those War Eagles??
I can't understand why call themselves Auburn Tigers and yet their chant is "War Eagle".
Second part of my quite exciting evening.
Of course I ordered another set, giving not one but two messages to make sure the seller know of the address change.
The first order, it was partly my fault, as I didn't do the addy change on Paypal BUT I did notify the seller when I chose the scents. Right scents wrong addy.
When I logged on to Paypal, a pop up appear offering free credit check. Hmm.that's a first for me.
But curious me clicked on it and it's one of those ads.. so I exited.
Then a page upload asking me to update info and an offer to apply for a Merchant Paypal card! Thank God I looked at the address bar, and it says www.oaypal..... something like that. No "P" as the first letter!! That scares me right away!!
Got out of there, went to PP and exited THRICE to make sure I got rid of whatever spam I may attract.
Finally.. I checked my info.. (Kel's bank balance)...and signed up for Bill Pay!!!! Thought it would be better if I use Bill Me Later!! Love the offer of zero interest if paid within six months :)
Be careful sistahs.

Glad to hear Kel loved the candle. Todd did that one time. I ordered some things for a swap and I was out shopping when the postman delivered it. He does nit normally open my packages but he did that time and he thiught it was his. I had to order more stuff for the swap.
Morning Sue. Hope your not working too hard.
Glad you did not sign up for that Jaye.
Morning Sue.
As long as it's not female stuffs eh, LK? Lolol!! I think we should sometimes just order something for the big boys for no reason. They do love to get surprises don't they?
congrats, to LSU on a great game played. jaye, in answer to your question, the play so bad the don't know if they are cats or birds
they certainly aren't football players
ROFL!!!!!! Malzahn's at least a gentleman.. not like that former coach who won't shake hands after a bad loss.
that's a very good kindergarten teacher teachin the youngins manners
Well I like the idea of sending a package to the guys....I did just that! Kel should be getting his very own package tomorrow...even addressed to him this time. Hope he enjoys it.
