I got this to treat powdery mildew on my Hibiscus, but in the instructions for days between spraying, Hibiscus isnt listed? There is no general use instructions are specific for certain plants, yet this product can be used on Hibiscus and for the disease, but I have no idea how often to treat them with the spray? Here is the product. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Daconil-32-oz-RTU-Plant-Disease-Control-Fungicide-2112/202268569#.UiAaAH-DkfQ
Powdery Mildew, how much of this product to use?
Keith,
Application intervals are not generally much different for each plant species, rather the disease in question. Chlorothalonil, the active ingredient in Daconil is generally sprayed at 7-10 day intervals for powdery mildew. If you are unsure of its safety on Hibiscus you can make an application to one plant and wait 3-7 days and see if any phtyo develops.
