I am so happy with my dahlia in container this year, we had a cool summer and she held up well, my daughter loves lilac so this is her plant to admire from her bedroom window. (laugh) Lots of volunteer Torenia and petunia plants came up in my containers
my flowers
These are very nice and fresh looking plants, no nibbled bits to be seen.
You daughter is very lucky to have a Mum that does this kind of thing to brighter her life, she will return the favour when needed, later on in life I feel sure.
Kindest regards. WeeNel.
Hi WeeNel, I have a wonderful daughter and I think I a very fortunate .Your remarks are so much like a flower judge(laugh) because those are the notes I will usually get when I enter my garden club flower show.Thank you for your great comments
Just tell those judges, "WeeNel said so" LOL, but seriously, wishing you best of luck for your Garden Club Flower Show, these shows are such a great way to see different plants, growing methods, and meeting like minded people, have fun and make sure you have help on hand to carry ALL those prizes home ha, ha, ha.
Best Regards. WeeNel.
Well done, Dont know why your asking me for help LOL, I was visiting a garden Show close to us, well about 30 miles away, it was wonderful as was the weather, we thought it was very quiet and fewer visitors than every other year and while speaking to other gardeners, we realised that all the visitors were elderly, so we just wondered IF maybe the younger generation are not doing gardening, we never noticed anyone under maybe 30-40 years old, hope your show went better than ours.
I love all those exhibitions you sent in and hope you needed an escort for safety to carry all the first prizes home. good luck, keep up the hard work and just enjoy, that's really what gardening is supposed to be about.
Best regards and much future luck. WeeNel.
