A very kind sistah has offered to pick me up. I wasn't 'allowed' to give excuses, when she won't let me talk for the first few minutes!! Plus, she's great at convincing me that my handicap won't be an issue. .
Still in disbelief here, she'd make a great detour just for me.

Very large outlet center in Pigeon Forge. Also close to Gatlinburg which has a wonderful artisan shopping area.

I was going to be nice and not mention the outlet center....yeap it is nice also. The Grist Mill Store sells the best yellow grits any southern gal would want to eat! The food there isn't bad either......

I can't remember about the cornmeal but it wouldn't surprise me if they have that also.

I'd like to have gone, since I'm so much closer now! But, I don't know that I can do anything yet until I start working again . . . ^_^

I'm sure there will be others who don't want to fabric shop. The Apple Barn Cider Mill & General Store is another fun place to poke around. There are wineries, the Aquarium of the Smokies, A huge outlet center,The artisan center in Gatlinburg, or just plain sit around and enjoy each others company (my personal favorite).

If we are all flying in, who is going to drive us? I know Kathy is driving, but I don't think we can all fit in one car?
