Summer planting schedule

Hi All,
As a newbie, I've been ordering a lot of grasses for planting in zone 7 (Queens, NY)
Am concerned about how late I can plant and have them survive the winter.
Any thoughts on this?

Can you tell us what type of grass plants you have delivery off, what kind of winter temps you have and are the plants in pots, if in pots try keep them in good light but out of hot sunshine as the pots will dry out very fast, also what type of soil do you have as some grass like poor gravely soil and other like humus added at planting time.
Further info would help receive the right answers instead of us trying to guess what you need regards info.
