I am having a problem with mealybugs. Can somebody please give me the name of a systemic of sorts that will work well on my houseplants without posing a problem to my cats? Thank you in advance for your help.

Mealybugs
gasrocks has been mentioning Azamax for this bype of problem. Very safe for humans and pets and can even be used on food crops on the day of harvest. I bought some and applied it but it's too early to tell, since it doesn't kill the bugs, it just keeps them from reproducing and keeps the babies from becoming adults. I suspect it is great stuff, though.
So Mom, how long do you think it would take for the mealy bugs to be dealt with using Azamax? I do think I saw the post you are referring to a bit ago.
Thank you.
I would apply once a week for 2 or 3 weeks and then stop and watch to see if they are toast. But I am an Azamax newbie. You might send a D-mail directly to gasrocks.
You were just reading my mind. I think I will send a Dmail to gasrocks. Thanks so much!
