A friend of mine sent me some seeds she said was green shiso. ( Japanese Perilla )
its growing well but it dont look like the pic of Shiso i have seen. Anyone know what it could be?

It looks like Basil to me. Any aroma when you rub the leaves? Flavor?
oh yes very aromatic and it it now that i looked it up it looks like basil.

Yes, that's basil. It should smell of liquorice. Mine is starting to bloom.
definitely a basil. I have tons of them in my garden.
