Was seen on moist soil in a shady part of the woods, there was a number of different species along with it suck as soft and compact rush, germander speedwell, willowherb, common bent and buttercups.
Need help to id this plant
Well, the frothy stuff is from a spittle bug.
Try the Plant ID forum to find out what the plant is.
Silene flos-cuculi, ragged robin... yes, the Plant ID forum is the place to post these questions for the quickest results.
Thank you for your messages guys, but i must say this. When i started this site i was in the plant id bit but the admin Auto moved me here because of me being n amature at this. I'll try going there again. thanks alot.
Amature84, are you sure you were in the Plant ID forum and not the PlantFiles pictures forum? If so, that's odd. Because the Plant ID forum is open to everybody whether or not you're a paid subscriber and that's generally where members that can answer your ID questions spend a lot of time.
Everybody on DG is helpful, but this "community" also has a lot of Experts (some are even pros) in different fields...Insects, Plants, Birds...as well as other members who are particularly knowledgable about some of those areas.
Usually a post in one of the ID forums will get you an answer the same day, sometimes even within minutes.
Here is the link:

Also, once your plants get Identified, please click on "CLOSED". That way other members that are only looking for current ID questions don't waste time on one that's been solved.

Thank you for the info, i have noticed how good people are on this site and friendly. I will go put my files on plant id for now on.
By-the-way, the pictures you took are very good! It will also help for ID if you can post the Zone you're in.
