Something is attacking my basil and fuchsia plants. The same thing happens every year. I cannot see any bugs on the plants, but they must be there.
Basil & Fuchsia problem
Some fuchsias are subject to Fuchsia Gall Mite. Research, see if that is what is going on with the fuchsia. Are Fuchsia Gall Mites found in the UK?
I would suspect some small sucking pest could do the damage that you are seeing on these plants. The pest works on the plant buds, then when the leaves expand they are already damaged.
could be aphids?
