Have you had a lot of rain? Looks like some kind of disease to me.

Look like Blight. Remove the bottom couple of branches to stop soil splash form hitting leaves when it rains or is watered. Clean out any tomato debris from soil. Then try spraying a mixture of of 1 oz of liquid seaweed, 1 oz of molasses, 1 oz Apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of compost tea mixed in 1 gal of water. The spray might help keep it under control. The best thing to do is say good-bye to the plants. Clean up the area they were planted. Mix some cornmeal into the soil and then spray the mixture above onto soil. Try planting a fall crop or wait till next year.Good luck

Thanks to everyone for the replies . I do think its blight. The weather here also has went from hot to days of rain. Even though the plants are dying we are still getting a ton of tomatoes most larger than softballs ! So all isn't lost. Will take advice and prepare the beds end of season for other plants and plant tomatoes in another location next year
