trying to id this plant

found this on moist soil in the shade was on a slight slope, tried to id it but cant find it on my book, scientific name name preferred.

hope the pictures help, was not the best sample...

Here we call it Marsh Buttercup, it spreads all over the place if you dont keep it at bay, very cute flower but can take over and chock out other small wild plants.
