fungus and now bug problems!

Hi all, i posted a thread a long time ago from when i had my seeds in a jiffy greenhouse. My garden is thriving and getting huge. Some plants are starting to flower. Im realizing i dont have much room in my raised garden bed. Everything was going great until the mushrooms and weird egg like spores started showing up on the soil near plants. Im hoping the sun will come out and dry it all out soon. But yesterday i noticed cucumber beetles... Great! Now the battle is on. I took about 5 off my plants last night and squashed them. I looked this morning and saw one on my pumpkin plant. Im disappointed because i wanted to go organic. Looks like Im gonna be using a pesticide. I also have slugs chopping huge holes in my leaves. But they should be gone once the garden dries up i hope!

There are pesticides that are organic. Rain will wash away anything you apply so you will need to reapply.
Good luck

You don't have to use pesticide. If there are pest find out what eats them and attract in the predators. Also try a mixture of 1 tbsp orange oil, 1 tbsp of liquid sea weed, and 1 tbsp of Garlic pepper tea concentrate( or the manufactures amount), then add 1 gallon of water. mix everything well. then spray. You can also try companion and trap plants around the beds. Slugs love to eat Delphiniums. Slug also like to make there homes in agapanthus, Plant it some where away from the garden and then you can control the slugs easier. Between companion and trap plants and creating habitats for predators like frogs and small lizards and bird. I never have to spray and always have a great harvest.

Sluggo Plus will kill slugs, snails, pill bugs and earwigs. It's organic. A little goes a long way.

Sluggo (without the plus) will kill slugs and snails, but not the other pests.

Spiders, ground beetles and other good bugs, eat slug eggs:

Cucumber beetle larvae overwinter in the ground. Invite lots of birds into your garden year round so they will nest nearby, and then you can say goodbye to bugs.
