Yes, it does.....& the little ones picked loads of berries for the visitors that didn't want to pick themselves.....a good lesson in what it takes to keep a business running....

Speaking of bees I got laced by a hornet on my finger. I can remember the same pain 25 years ago. Another 25 goes by & it will be too soon.

Hey all! Back from vacation over the weekend. Been busy with other stuff since. I see this awful formatting problem is still here. Good lord!

Will post pics when I can.

It has improved a bit, but still here. I wish I could kick them for not caring about their customers. I stay because of my friends.

Glad vaca was good. We missed you!!!

Well, we made a BIG decision for us. We are frugal people. The thought of spending money sends us into palpitations. Our dream has always been a place in the Adirondacks, but when we REALLY thought about it, we realized our kids would only get to be there maybe a week a year if that. So, with our family spread out all over the country, we have purchased a used class C motor home so that we can go anywhere in the country to visit family. They can also use it. Some of our DIL's don't do tenting well. Anyway we pick it up next week. Looking forward to using it.

Just finished my first week of Pilates, well three days anyway...I really like it and can't believe how hard it really is. So hard to think about really using your core, hoping it does well for my back.

Alaska is on the agenda for next summer. Will start googling and getting pointers. Thinking Alcan highway on the way and the ferry system down the inside passage on the return. Getting off and visiting spots. Hoping to visit with Steve, a former DG member who went by the handle of Soferdg, in Juneau.
