Weather In Your Garden #133

had a real quick nasty storm.. not sure it was that much water .. seemed too quick to be worth anything

I hit showers all the way down to the vet hospital.....got to the beach & the thunder started, kept it up for 2 hours, then finally rained....got home a 5:30...not one drop fell here, my garden is like concrete.

73 now going to 85.. more storms possible

It's what my Mom called 'close' today...soupy & thundery......

73 now humid & mosquitos are very active. got in some weeding time this morning, but have given it up for the day. Just managed to copy the flyers for posting in supermarket boards sent by ISM president for our iris sale on July 27. time 11-4 at Verrill farms. 11 Wheeler Rd Concord MA. Members have to be there earlier to set up. the nice thing for us is that we don't have to carry a lunch any more, can get it there. One less thing to do while getting plants & chairs to use into the car.

could it be any nastier out there? really thick, showers went thru while we were at the mall

had tornado warnings while at work. spent an hour in the shelters at work. raining now. power still off at work, didn't lose it at home. work is only 6 miles away.

oh geez! stay safe!

Sorry to hear that, Lucy & Debi......2" of rain here in a very short time! Also tornado in the eastern part of state, near Uconn....don't know how much damage it caused....feels like I'm living in tornado alley lately!

turned the ac back on after 2 days off

storms have left, now it's sunny

Weather here just north of Houston today wasn't too bad. Hot, but not as humid as jersey was when we left. The pool felt great!

yeah what's going on with the tornadoes up there lately?

winds get lazy & have to do something. 3 small iris shipments came in today. Weeds & mosquitos in the garden, a nasty combination.

79 now going to 83.. still soupy out there.. drizzling when I got up

Thunder this morning....now it's gray & humid....dreading my morning walk.....
