Weather In Your Garden #133

Move here if you want rain....every storm has hit us, every day that storms were in CT......supposed to be storms every afternoon right through next week......lightning tripped some circuits in the house...have to go down into cellar & find them!

I got rain, every day so far. :) but was spared the wind and hail.

t- storms came through last night.

storms here every night too. which is good after 90+ all day

Wicked cool here, a cold front moved in and the heat out! 57 now, high of 70 today with showers this afternoon. We got hammered last night around 4pm, downpours!! Parts of Maine are now on FLOOD WATCH also.

yeah I am assuming your water is rolling down hill to us

Hee hee he! I'm about 15 miles from the river that is threatening to flood and way above the lake, so no worries here.

Wowza, we had 1.04" of rain in a half hour last night! It was pretty wild.

That is a wowza. Our rain seems to have stopped enough for me to get out and plant some Heuchera liners. Still overcast and damp, but birds are out singing again. Patti

most of NJ has a tornado warning until 10.. and north & west has a flood warning... ugh ugh double ugh

Sorry for you. We are in heavy fog and the wind is now out of the South at 6mph and temp is 64. 97% Humidity or as my kid use to say, humadidy. Airport must be still open as I heard a plane, but the fog horns are sounding too. Pea soup at our house. Patti

Brightening after more downpours this morning, but I bet the garden is too dry still. As we haven't had the rain Robindog has had and these big downpours aren't the long soaking rain that we really need. We are going off to Vt today and then toTanglewood to Prairie Home Companion tomorrow. I hope we don't get rain for our picnic. Still hearing thunder here so dogs not happy. Patti

79° rain most of the morning. Out to lunch--dratted diabetis diet has shrunk my stomach. Can't finish meals outside of home.

Sunny, breezy now after an afternoon shower.....cannot work in the gardens at all......

We were in another tornado watch/ warning til 5:15. Whichever is not as bad. Crazy weather for June for sure.
