Beginner Bucket Potato Help!

My bucket potatoes are growing great, thanks to the stuff I have learned here.

But I can not find answers to these questions! Can someone help?

1) I was out of town for two weeks and could not earth up.. The plants are 12 inches or more high and some flowers are starting now (mid June). Is it too late to earth up??

2) How high can I stack the buckets?? These plants are growing like gangbusters.. Is there a certain height that becomes bad for the plant? I was thinking, does the water need to get all the way to the lowest roots, because if that is so and the bucket tower is 5 feet tall, no way you can get water down deep without water logging the top?

3) the seed potatoes I used said "late harvest" does that help me know when to harvest? I have read to harvest when the leaves turn brown, but if I keep watering properly, will the leaves ever turn brown?
