Is fruit that is irrigated by asprinkler system using 'reclaimed water' safe to eat??
We have a few lemon, orange, and mango trees in the yard of our new house. The sprinkler system of the yard uses reclaimed water. Just wondering if the fruit from those trees is safe to eat. I know that all those fruits have skin that is taken off before eating / drinking, but just wanted to make sure.
Thanks, Josh
FRUIT SAFE TO EAT??? THANK YOU!!!
Many commercial fruit and vegetable crops are irrigated with reclaimed water. Of course it is safe to eat, but it should be washed/peeled first.
Thank you for asking Josh......I too was wondering the same.
