Looks a bit like Australian Cabbage Palm ( Cordyline ) but could be wrong, are the leafs hard brittle or soft like grass, any information could be helpful along with your picture.

Stacey--

After you have uploaded your picture--right click on it--and there will be an option to
"Rotate clockwise" or "Rotate counter clockwise". Just click on whichever seems best....

Sure makes it easier for us who have to look at your picture with our heard tilted 45 degrees...
