Is it true that seeds that float in a plate of water are not any good.
Soaking Seeds
Pretty much...but, plant them and see what happens. Sometimes there's still life!
Depends on the variety of seed. I 'soak' all of mine between layers of toilet paper... when they sprout, they get planted in the flats. No waste that way.
I have never found it to be true. I soak seeds and the floaters have germinated too. I don't even think of it as a viability test anymore.
