Hello everyone, it`s been a long time since I have returned to this sight but since my fathers passing its been hard to keep up with everything. I`m still trying to get use to doing all of the yard work & sadly im still not able to plant anything without it catching every bug & dieing.
Some of you may remember I bought the Texas sage trees & they died from bugs so after replacing them a second time & having the same problem I changed things up. During the beginning of spring I bought new large planting pots, new soul with good drainage & planted holly sky point. They look great been doing good for about two months & once again I am seeing the same small bugs with lots of ants. I realize it's probably already to late for them but I am ready to just scream, what am I doing wrong? Why are the bugs coming back? Maybe I am watering to much? Maybe the living green pretty things just HATE ME!!!!!

The ants are pretty bad on the holly but I have only found one bug so far. I just started seeing a few leafs turn black, and one yellow leaf. The bug looked like a very small lady bug just dark brown.the roots still look good from what I can see, I`ve tried that oil stuff before & had no luck with it so I`m at a loss. Do i just hold off on watering? What else could I do, it's getting really hard to keep putting money out & just watching it die a slow death while trying to take me down with it.

Help, please I cant live a life of plastic trees, bushes, flowers, and even grass, how is it I help save lives of the human kind but kill everything else....Uggggg
