WEIRD!

I would wash it all off, gentle stream of water, in the sink or even outside, or perhaps in the shower or bathtub. Depends on the size of the plant, and what works for you. You can use a cotton swab to get into small places.

Deep soak the soil several times, too. I do not have much hope of that removing any organisms that might be hiding in there, but maybe...

Clean the location where you normally keep the plant. If it is near a window, clean the drapes, just in case some of whatever it is has stuck to the drapes. Vacuum well around the area. Just in case...

It looks external, whatever it is, maybe you can get rid of it that way.

Watch very carefully, and post back if you see even the first bit coming back. Where did it come back? Top of plant? Bottom of plant? Did it 'grow' up out of the soil?

If the first treatment (clean it all up) did not work, then proper ID and treatment is best.
