Are These Male or Female Squash Flowers?

Sacramento, CA(Zone 9b)

For my first blooms I was sure I had male flowers, but now that I think I have female blooms I am doubting my knowledge.

Does anyone know if these blooms are female or male?

Thanks in advance to those who reply to this post.

Those look like male flowers, though I can't tell in every picture.
The female flower will be on a much shorter stem and have a small fruit just under the flower, even before it opens.

Thanks! They were male flowers as you confirmed. I took note of what you said about a small fruit under the flower & went back to my plants to observe and found exactly what you mentioned. The difference is prevalent.

Very glad to be of help. Once you know what to look for, it's easy to tell them apart.

Enjoy those squash and watch out for the squash bugs, squash vine borers and cucumber beetles. I fight with them every season.
