I've planted some tomatoes in containers using MG Potting Mix.
I see those who mix their own media add lime for ph balance and as calcium / magnesium source.
Do I have to add lime in my case as well?
Should I add garden lime to Miracle Gro Potting Mix
Yep...

You need to know the PH of your soil, to determine if it needs lime. I'm on well water that is very alkaline so I would never add lime to my soil. The soil may be neutral or acidic but if your water is basic then it sets up a whole other scenario. I wouldn't add anything until I'm sure it was needed. I know many people who plant in containers (not eBuckets) that use straight potting mix and have great results.
That's why I posted that I wouldn't add lime because they aren't mixing their own medium, it's a complete mix. Everybody who uses MG doesn't add lime, in my case it would be detrimental.
