How do I train a Bay Laurel to have a corkscrew twist stem

Hello,
I just purchase a 6" Bay Laurel (Laurus Nobilis) and would love to know how to train it to grow as a tree with a "corkscrew twist stem" like the tree in the picture attached.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
