plums and beach plums

I am thinking of getting a conventional plum species ( although grafted onto dwarf rootstock) to be planted between my two Beach Plums, which are very very short indeed. Does anyone know if there are self fertile varieties, or if
there are plum varieties that could be cross fertile with the Maritima?
