Last year I had looked out my window and the newly planted tree was fine. Next time I looked one of three branches had been snapped off and laying on the ground. That was last year. Today I was in my yard, passed by my golden chain tree which is leafing nicely. Next time I looked and one of the two branches had been snapped off, just like the tree last year. Also, something had broken off the first of three branches on this same golden chain treel last spring. What could be doing this? There is, otherwise, no known animal life around when these issues occurred. I suspect it to be a bird?? Anyone have a clue? (I am in central Pennsylvania)
