I am "trying" hangs head, to grow several things. My summer squash seems pretty good, cucumbers are struggling and my prized peas :) have taken on a white hue. Can you tell in this pic what might be wrong?
New Memphian/germantown gardener with "whitish cast on peas"
I can't see the leaves clearly but do they look like road maps? If so they are leaf miners.
Thank you, will check into that.
Why do you say that the cukes are struggling?
I transplanted them which I have read isn't good and the stems are shriveling up.
They can be transplanted but sometimes it's easier to direct sow them. I have a feeling if the stems were shriveling up it's probably too late now anyway.
What's going on with your peas?
There hasn't been much change in the peas BUT with the temps jetting down to the 40's I am not sure if anything will survive:( who would think it would be 40 and rainy in May.
I totally understand, things are a live but not thriving.
