We have the miniature dwarf & pumila iris species in bloom. they are quite cute, but you have to get close to them to really enjoy. I love them dearly.
Spring 2013
Post some photos, Iris.....
Love them too!
I have one MTB in bloom (midas mite)
nice!!!
Lovely! I'm partial to that soft yellow with the blue. :)
Both lovely flowers...thanks.
OMG, those are the cutest little things, Iris! The yellow and the purple would make a good combo.
Karen

Lovin all the color!!
I saw some buds on my NOID iris I got in a co-op year 2 years ago...flowers soon If I can keep Winston away long enough!
Your gardens look wonderful, Jen!
Beautiful!!
thanks!
Jen's gardens look wonderful!
I think Trout Lilies will be going on my want list!
Love the magnolia's and viburnum! Trout lilies grow wild here, we too call them "dog-tooth violets". :)
Lovely!
Pretty! I like the Hyacinths
Nice blooms, Rosemary & Pixie.....the quince that I thought was too small to bloom is budded...yay!
Love the blooms, Celeste. I wasn't sure if I could ID the last one-- white and blue. I assume it's a small bulb with a strappy leaf--manbe snow in summer? Considering my larger bulbs aren't blooming yet where I am it's not one of them
Thanks everyone! Rosemary that is STRIPPED SQUILL, very dainty but one of my favorites. :)
great shots Celeste.. glad you are waking up in full gear now!!
Cool. I don't think I've ever seen a squill that wasn't purple-blue. I imagine a field of both together could look like there are frothy waves.
My Squills are all over.I planted some with a mass of blue in mind.It didnt happen. Grape hyacinths are plenty massed.
I heard plantings of them will keep voles away. Dont know if its true or not.
Several years ago I planted several hundred siberian squills in my front yard. Then one year they had gone, but were replanted on my back hill. Those busy rhodents must have had a field day.
Beautiful. Just the inspiration I needed to go outside and start digging.
So pretty Jo!!
thnx
