I planted Tiger Blush, Bada Boom and Picottee begonia seeds on 2.22.13. They germinated in 2 days and seem to do well. They are growing VERY slowly. I have them under grow lights and am fertilizing them. If they do not pick up the pace, they will not be large emough to tranplant outside. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Begonias
Transplant begonias when seedlings are two inches tall by filling six-inch plastic seedling pots with peat moss. Then mist until the peat moss is damp. Scoop out soil in the center of the pot to make a planting hole. Lift a begonia from the flat and place in the planting hole in the six-inch pot. Cover with peat moss. Place seedling pots in a sunny windowsill out of direct sunlight and continue to keep peat moss damp.

Stop Fertilising these baby plants and don't start again till the plants have grown some decent foliage ect, IF you keep fertilising, you could burn the roots, make soft foliage that cant support it'self, and also, you want these baby plants to grow much more under the soil before they get too big above soil or they will just topple over from being tooooo soft /weak.
Hope this helps you out.
WeeNel.
