No DG for 10 Days

And Lisa's daughter is beautiful, and she is also as sweet as can be.

Oh, I have now had several lessons in cajun. I can now go to a store and get cajun nikes, hehehehehe!

We toured the swamps and met lisa's pet gator fideaux. Pics are in the journal! :)

Well the gator thing just gives me the creeps, not sure how lisa deals with that. I guess growing up there it is just second nature to her but I don't think I would even bring the trash outback at night!!!

Just met Jody and her mother. What a treat! I wasn't really scheduled on her trip, but she stopped by. I sent a message via Justmelisa and before long, my phone was ringing. "Can we stop by?"

Well, we had a lovely visit. I would have sent more goodies with the travelling duo, but their trunk was SOOOOO packed. We barely had room to fit anything in at all.

My girls especially loved the sweet little parrot. I'll try to post pictures on the photo forum tomorrow.

What a delight!

Called here after she left smiln's house. Unfortunately, my DH has to go to bed really early to get up at 4, so we missed our visit. It will be a long time til next year, but maybe something will come up before then and we can meet in the middle.

so happy to hear jody, mom and jack (parrot) are getting along with their journey! Dh gave them a "shortcut" and I was getting worried about them ;-)

I'm so glad you are keeping this journal so we can all travel with you and meet the DG family. Thanks Jody!!! Had to laugh out loud about Fideaux, great name with a Cajun touch. He has such a big toothy grin.

Finally back home, a little early, but was ready to be home, hehehe.

Smilin32 is such a wonderful lady!!! So glad I got to meet her and her family and hope next time the visit will be a bit longer.

I have a few more pics to add to the journal and now that I am home I will try to get them all "narrated" so ya'll know what and who you are looking at.
