Is it ok to pick them up in the park for adding directly to compost pile, or should I keep them seperate to dry and then add?

You can add them directly to the compost pile.

How much are you going to add? Are the goose droppings going to be 10% or 25% or.... more... of the compost pile?

The more there are the more carefully you need to balance the amount of water or wet matter (like fresh lawn clippings, and wet kitchen waste) with dry matter (fallen leaves).

If the goose droppings are not very wet to begin with, or are not a large % of the compost pile, then a little wetter or a little drier is not a big deal.

Ill start collecting this week. I'm just getting started w the compost, but ill keep extra on the side to dry. Ill add it to my gardens as I go along while the compost breaks down.
